Lemon Garlic Butter Shrimp


Lemon garlic butter shrimp is a quick and flavorful dish featuring succulent shrimp sautéed in a rich blend of butter, fresh garlic, and zesty lemon juice. This combination creates a savory sauce that perfectly complements the tender shrimp, often garnished with parsley and served over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread for a complete meal.

 Ingredients:

        . 1 lb (450g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
.3 tablespoons butter
. 4 garlic cloves,minced
.Juice of 1 lemon
.Zest of 1 lemon
. 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
.Salt and pepper, to taste
. 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
. Cooked rice or pasta, for serving





Instructions:

1.) Prepare the shrimp: Season the shrimp
 with salt and pepper.

  2.) Cook the garlic: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, 
about 1 minute.

  3.) Cook the shrimp: Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they are pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.


4.) Add lemon: Stir in the lemon juice, 
lemon zest, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until everything is well combined.


5.) Finish and serve: Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve immediately over cooked rice or pasta.
